近日，金杜律师事务所迎来Amber Group前总法白建民律师以合伙人的身份加入其上海办公室。

白律师的核心业务领域为重大知识产权诉讼，包括复杂的专利、技术秘密、商标、著作权诉讼，以及反不正当竞争和反垄断诉讼，尤其擅长跨国知识产权诉讼。他所服务的客户遍及医药、化学、半导体、通讯、制造、生物化学、金融科技等众多行业领域。

加入金杜前，白律师曾分别在众达律师事务所、安理国际律师事务所担任合伙人；此前，他也曾在蚂蚁集团担任副总裁兼首席知识产权法务官。

金杜在一份新闻稿中表示，白律师的加入将进一步加强金杜在知识产权领域的专业实力和服务水平，为客户提供更高品质的服务。

这是金杜今年引入的第一批合伙人级别律师。

KWM adds Amber Group legal head in Shanghai

King & Wood Mallesons recently added Amber Group’s legal head Benjamin Bai as a partner in its Shanghai office. 

Bai specializes in high-stake IP litigation concerning complex patent, trade secret, trademark, and copyright disputes, as well as anti-unfair competition and antimonopoly matters. He has particular expertise in cross-border IP litigation. Benjamin has served clients from a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemistry, semiconductors, communications, manufacturing, biochemistry, and Fintech. 

Prior to joining Amber Group, Bai was vice president and the chief of the intellectual property legal team at Ant Group. Before that, Bai worked as a partner at international law firms such as Jones Day and Allen & Overy.

KWM addressed in a press release that the addition of Bai will further enhance the firm's professional strengths and service capabilities in the field, thereby providing clients with superior services.

This is the first batch of partner-level hire made by the firm this year.
