伟凯律师事务所近日迎来破产重组专家Sophie Lyall以合伙人身份加盟其香港办公室。

Lyall拥有超过15年的相关经验，专注于跨地区和跨行业的前端重组和破产事务的各个领域。加入伟凯之前，她曾在亚司特律师事务所工作。

伟凯全球重组与破产业务负责人Thomas Lauria在一份新闻稿中表示，全球经济现已进入重大结构性变革时期，预计大型跨境重组与破产项目将显著增加，Lyall的加入将为处在重组困难阶段的客户提供全面支持的重要助力。

这是伟凯香港迎来争议解决业务合伙人何志锐之后的又一起专家引入。

White & Case adds restructuring expert in Hong Kong

White & Case has recently added Sophie Lyall as a partner in the Firm's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group in Hong Kong.

Lyall has more than 15 years of experience, and she specializes in all aspects of restructuring, insolvency and special situations matters, with a long-standing focus on both North and South Asia. Prior to joining White & Case, Lyall worked at Ashurst.

Tom Lauria, the head of White & Case’s global financial restructuring and insolvency practice, addressed in a press release that the global economy has now entered a period of significant structural change and we anticipate a pronounced increase in large, cross-border restructurings and insolvencies. And the addition of Lyall will be an important boost to provide comprehensive support to clients in the difficult phase of restructuring.

This is the latest partner-level hire made by White & Case after the firm added Wilfred Ho to its Hong Kong office.
