毅柏律师事务所近日迎来银行及金融专家苗蕾律师以合伙人身份加盟其香港办事处。此前，她曾在离岸律师事务所Mourant Ozannes担任顾问。

苗律师在亚洲的离岸及在岸法律市场累积了近15年的经验，擅长处理银行和金融事务交易，尤其专精于基金融资法律服务。在2016年加入Mourant Ozannes之前，苗律师曾在高伟绅律师事务所位于香港、伦敦和新加坡的办事处任职。

毅柏香港及上海办事处管理合伙人布泰玮律师表示：“凭借苗律师广泛的专业法律背景及其于基金融资的专长和专业知识，她将会参与本所领先业界的银行与金融及基金事务，并将进一步支持本所在亚洲区的服务。”

毅柏香港办事处目前共拥有 26 名律师，其中包括 11 名合伙人。今年 1 月，该办事处便已引入顾问律师朴棣闵和法律事务经理曾彦，在去年也吸引了合伙人裴乐娜、黄伟和陈希欣律师的加入。

这是毅柏香港今年引入的第一位合伙人级别律师。

Offshore firm Appleby makes banking hire in HK from Mourant

Offshore law firm Appleby has added banking and finance expert Lily Miao as a partner in its Hong Kong office from rival Mourant Ozannes, where she was a counsel.

Miao becomes Appleby’s fourth lateral partner hire in the last 12 months. Since February, the firm has added partners Lorinda Peasland, Eason Huang, and Kitty Chan last year.

She has close to 15 years of offshore and onshore experience in Asia and the UK. She advises on a broad spectrum of transactions, from leveraged and acquisition finance to real estate finance and general corporate lending, with a particularly strong focus on fund finance.

Prior to joining Mourant in 2016, she was an associate in Clifford Chance’s London, Singapore, and Hong Kong offices.

"With her extensive background and specialised expertise in fund financing, Lily represents a strategic hire who intersects with our leading banking and finance and fund practices to further support our offering in Asia,” said David Bulley, managing partner of Appleby’s Hong Kong and Shanghai offices, in a statement.

Appleby now has 26 lawyers in Hong Kong, including 11 partners. The office added counsel Damon Booth and legal manager Yan Zeng in January this year.
