自今年年初从安永的前法律网成员林朱律师事务所吸纳了管理合伙人朱静文律师之后，天达共和律师事务所的香港联营所杨杨律师事务所近日迎来并购专家杨家奇律师以合伙人身份加盟。

杨律师拥有超过20年的执业经验，他的专业领域包括兼并与收购、证券及公开上市、私募股权、监管合规以及企业和商业事务等。

加入杨杨之前，杨律师曾在艾金·岗波律师事务所北京办公室工作。去年12月，艾金宣布将关闭北京办公室，目前，该所在亚洲的分支机构仅保留于新加坡和香港。艾金北京管理合伙人徐步青律师转而常驻其香港，合伙人姜靖荔律师则调往华盛顿办事处。

杨杨在一份新闻稿中表示，杨律师的加入将进一步提升该所的专业领域经验，同时，杨律师也将与其战略合作伙伴天达共和律师事务所进行密切合作，进一步拓展杨杨的法律业务。

East & Concord HK firm makes M&A hire from Akin Beijing

Yang & Yang Solicitors, PRC law firm East & Concord Partners’ Hong Kong association firm, has added M&A expert Dennis Yeung as a partner from the Beijing office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, which closed recently.

At the end of last year, Akin Gump announced the closure of its four-lawyer Beijing office. Office managing partner Allen Shyu moved to the firm’s Hong Kong office, while partner Jingli Jiang relocated to Washington, DC. 

Yeung has more than 20 years of experience, focusing on M&A, securities and public listings, private equity, regulatory compliance, and corporate & commercial matters.

Concord Partners, to further develop legal practices with clients in Mainland China,” said Yang & Yang in a statement.

Yang & Yang now has 10 lawyers in Hong Kong, including eight partners. Earlier this year, the firm hired Rossana Chu, the former managing partner of EY’s now-shuttered legal arm in Hong Kong, LC Lawyers, and announced its association with East & Concord.
