罗夏信律师事务所近日迎来公司业务专家昃杰律师以合伙人身份加盟其伦敦办公室。此前，他曾在安睿顺德伦律师事务所北京办公室担任管理合伙人、中国区公司部主管。

昃律师拥有超过20年的丰富执业经验，他善于为中国国有企业、主权财富基金和私营公司就其大型复杂的跨境并购、基础设施项目、私募股权交易、投资基金、合资企业和企业融资事务提供法律意见。

在2013年加入安睿顺德伦之前，他也曾先后服务于史密夫斐尔律师事务所、吉布森律师事务所以及世达国际律师事务所。

在今年7月，ALB得到安睿顺德伦确认，该所表示“目前正在重新审视北京办公室的策略之中，但尚未做出任何有关其未来的决定”。

Stephenson Harwood adds corporate practice partner from Eversheds Sutherland

London-based Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its corporate practice in London after hiring partner Jay Ze from Eversheds Sutherland.

Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Ze was the head of China corporate practice and Beijing office managing partner at Evershed.

Ze has more than two decades of experience advising Chinese state-owned enterprises, sovereign wealth funds and private companies on their large and complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure projects, private equity transactions, investment funds, joint ventures and corporate finance matters. 

Prior to joining Eversheds in 2013, Ze worked at Herbert Smith Freehills, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom respectively.

In July this year, Eversheds has confirmed to ALB that the firm is currently reviewing whether to keep its Beijing office open, while also making plans to reestablish an office in Singapore.
