AnJie Law Firm has added three professionals at its Beijing office with the hire of IP specialists Liu Liangyong and Wang Ying as partners as well as senior government affairs expert Gillian Xi as senior consultant.

Prior to joining AnJie this February, Liu was senior partner at An, Tian, Zhang & Partners, where he focused on handling IP cases for clients in various industries including electronics and Internet, machining, chemicals, food and beverage, medical devices and automobile.

Wang spent nine years as an in-house patent attorney for Novozymes China before moving to AnJie. Her practice areas cover FTO analysis, licensing, patent evaluation, patent portfolio management, among others.

Xi was formerly the government affairs director at Alstom (China) Investment and had a 20-year stint with the Ministry of Commerce, where she served as director of the interpretation division.
