Dacheng Law Offices has boosted its mergers and acquisitions practice in Shanghai by hiring partners Daniel Ye Wei, Benjamin Bin Zhao, Jason Cheng, and Caroline Hou from HHP Attorneys-at-Law. All four are bringing their teams with them.

The departures mean that HHP has lost around 10 of its 30 lawyers to Dacheng’s Shanghai Office.

The four partners, specialising in M&A, private equity and finance, said they moved to Dacheng for “better opportunities.”

Dacheng has been in the spotlight recently after the firm merged with Dentons to create the largest law firm in the world.
