IP lawyers Hairuo Zhang, Andy Xiang and Bob Jin have left China’s LexField Law Offices to co-found an IP boutique called Twelve Tables Law firm, which is dedicated to handling complex IP litigation and anti-trust cases in the country.
All three previously worked at King & Wood Mallesons before making their way to LexField.
Twelve Tables now has a headcount of seven people, including the three founding members and plans to expand to a 20-lawyer team soon. The firm already boasts a number of key clients, including Seaworld, 36Kr, Tsinghua University, etc.
Zhang has 12 years of experience advising clients exclusively on IP litigation and enforcement. She worked at KWM from 2007 to 2015, where she was trained as an IP litigator. Zhang moved to Baker McKenzie as a senior associate in April 2015, before joining LexField one year later as partner and head of the firm’s soft IP litigation team.
Xiang’s practice areas cover patent litigation and licensing. He represented "Chenguang" in the first trade dress case heard by China’s Supreme People’s Court (SPC) which was named as one of the annual top cases of SPC in 2010. After starting his career at EAST IP as a patent attorney in 2005, Xiang moved to KWM in 2007. Prior to joining LexField, he worked as an intellectual property manager and Counsel at ABB from 2012 to 2017.
Jin, an IP trial expert, has handled over 100 complex patent litigation cases as well as patent invalidation cases. Prior to a two -year stint at LexField, Jin worked at KWM from 2010 to 2017. Among his past roles, he also worked in the R&D department of a semi-conductor company.
From 2017 to 2019, both Xiang and Jin represented Qualcomm against Apple in more than a dozen patent infringement cases.

张海若律师专注于涉外及复杂知识产权诉讼和维权12年。2007年至2015年间，曾作为知识产权诉讼律师在金杜律师事务所执业。2015年4月，作为资深律师加入贝克▪麦坚时国际律师事务所。一年后，作为合伙人加入联德律师事务所，领导商标诉讼业务。
向虎律师的执业领域包括专利诉讼与许可，曾代理2010年最高人民法院年度知识产权案件“晨光”商业装潢案。2005年，向虎律师作为专利律师就职于东方亿思知识产权代理有限公司，2007年加入金杜律师事务所。加入联德之前的2012至2017年间，向虎律师在瑞士ABB集团担任知识产权经理和顾问。
靳强律师具有丰富的知识产权诉讼经验，处理过上百件复杂的专利诉讼案件和专利无效案件。靳强律师在联德执业两年，在此之前的2010至2017年间，就职于金杜律师事务所。更早些时候，靳强律师曾就职于京东方光电半导体研发部。
2017至2019年间，向虎律师和靳强律师均代表高通公司处理其与苹果公司之间的十多件专利侵权案件。
