万商天勤律师事务所昆明办公室于近日正式获批成立，这是万商天勤在中国内地的第13家分支机构。

据悉，新开设的昆明办公室目前拥有20人左右的律师团队，未来主要服务于公司与并购、争议解决、房地产、基础设施和建设工程、刑事合规与辩护、涉外法律业务等业务领域。

该所表示，落子昆明是万商天勤在西南地区的重要战略布局。昆明作为“一带一路”倡议的重要门户枢纽、国家内陆沿边开放的新高地，拥有独特的区位、生态、资源、开放优势。“我们期待昆明办公室与成都、武汉、西安等多地办公室协同合作，强化区域性法律服务能力，扩大品牌辐射范围，助推万商天勤在西部地区的业务发展及网格化服务体系构建”。

万商天勤于2008年由创立于深圳的万商律师事务所，以及成立于北京的赛德天勤律师事务所合并而成，目前总部设立于北京。

这也是近期自锦天城后，第二家在西南重要城市昆明开设分支机构的律所。

V&T sets up Kunming office

V&T Law Firm's Kunming office has recently been officially approved for establishment, making it the 13th branch in mainland China for the firm.

The newly opened Kunming office currently boasts a team of around 20 lawyers and will primarily focus on corporate and mergers, dispute resolution, real estate, infrastructure and construction projects, criminal compliance and defense, and international legal affairs.

The firm stated that establishing a presence in Kunming is a vital strategic move for V&T in the southwestern region. Kunming, as an important gateway hub for the "Belt and Road" initiative and a new highland for inland border openness, holds unique advantages in terms of location, ecology, resources, and openness. "We look forward to the collaboration of the Kunming office with offices in various cities like Chengdu, Wuhan, and Xi'an, to enhance regional legal service capabilities, expand our brand's reach, and facilitate V&T's business development and grid service system construction in the western region."

Founded in 2008 through the merger of Wanshang Law Firm, established in Shenzhen, and Saide Tianqin Law Firm in Beijing, V&T is currently headquartered in Beijing.

This also marks the second law firm to open a branch in the southwestern regional hub of Kunming recently, following AllBright Law Offices.
