Our client is a major UK law firm with a well established Hong Kong office and several offices across Asia.  It has a highly regarded corporate, finance and energy practice in Asia and globally. The firm is currently recruiting a mid-level corporate and M&A associate to join its busy Hong Kong office. Minimum 4 or 5 years PQE; qualified in Hong Kong; strong M&A experience, including ideally: (i) private M&A/joint ventures, (ii) public company takeovers; and (iii) private equity (again in this order of importance); good public markets experience/knowledge, i.e. familiarity with Listing Rules, securities legislation and Takeovers Code (again in this order of importance); fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese (spoken and written).
