The Singapore office of a leading international law firm is seeking an IP/TMT lawyer to join its top ranking IP/TMT practice.
The team's expertise covers IP litigation, commercial IP transactions, licensing and commercialization of IP in the technology, media and life sciences sectors across Asia. The team also advises on cybersecurity, privacy and data protection matters with a focus on the media, telecoms and fintech sectors.
Key requirements
- A law degree from an accredited law program and admitted to practice law in Singapore
- Minimum 2 years’ experience, with top law firm experience strongly preferred
- Experience working on non-contentious and/or contentious IP matters; experience advising clients in the technology, media, life sciences, telecoms and fin tech sectors on IP, data privacy and cybersecurity matters.
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English is essential; fluency in a second regional language would be ideal.
- Strong fact-finding, drafting, negotiating, writing and research skills.
- Able to manage competing expectations, be nimble, prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be effective at working in a cross-functional, multinational team, welcoming diversity and supporting inclusivity.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail, strong sense of ownership and accountability.
