Paul Hastings has hired former Shanghai-based O’Melveny & Myers counsel Sean Tai as a partner at its Shanghai office. Admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales, Tai is a corporate specialist with experience in cross border M&As, private equity investments, real estate investments, debt financings and securities law compliance in Greater China.

Tai’s clients include Goldman Sachs, Apollo and Tishman Speyer for private equity, real estate investment and financing work and Deutsche Bank with respect to debt financing. One of Tai’s recent key transactions was advising Coty Inc on one of the largest takeovers in the skincare sector in Greater China. ALB
