We are now accepting submissions for the ALB 2012 Arbitration Rankings. Following on from our intellectual property rankings, we continue to offer an improved submission process, enhanced methodology and greater transparency in generating more reliable, trustworthy and valuable results.

The ALB 2012 Arbitration Rankings will be researched by a new team of professional legal journalists who have previous experience of working at respected industry publications. Candice Mak, North Asia Editor for ALB, was previously the Asia Editor of the IFLR 1000 and the former editor of China Law & Practice. Seher Hussain, Southeast Asia journalist, was previously Deputy Editor for the Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific Guide. Kanishk Verghese, North Asia journalist, was a former reporter/researcher for Euromoney’s World Tax Review and Managing Intellectual Property's rankings publication, World IP Survey.

The arbitration rankings will be published in our June 2012 issue.

THE 2012 ALB ARBITRATION RANKINGS

What?

We will be identifying and ranking the top arbitration players across China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, India, Malaysia and Indonesia in one Asia-Pacific ranking. Our arbitration rankings will include domestic and international firms.

How?

ALB will take a comprehensive and rigorous approach to identifying the top firms in the region. Our editorial team will speak to a wide range of lawyers and their clients. All interviews will be off-the-record, confidential, and conducted entirely for research purposes.  The attached document details our methodology.

ALB does not require a firm to submit in order to be ranked. A submission is strongly encouraged as it gives us a comprehensive overview of your practice. However, firms that do not submit may also be considered for a ranking.

In determining whether or not to consider any firm that does not submit, ALB will combine market and client feedback with our own editorial judgment.
