Skadden has advised Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and BOC International as the underwriters in a $400 million notes issue by Zoomlion H.K. SPV Co (Zoomlion), a subsidiary of Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co.
Zoomlion, which will use the raised capital to finance its overseas expansion, has guaranteed the notes, which were sold under Rule 144A/Regulation S.
Hong Kong-based partners Alec Tracy and Edward Lam led the Skadden team that advised the underwriters, while Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s Hong Kong partners Leiming Chen and Celia Lam represented Zoomlion.
