King & Wood Mallesons has advised China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), a Chinese state-owned contractor, on its HK$3.9 billion ($500 million) IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The IPO prospectus was launched on Dec. 11, and trading commenced on Dec. 21.
Larry Kwok, managing partner of the firm’s Asia strategy and markets practice, led on the transaction, and was supported by senior associate Rong Fan and counsel Steve Woo.
ABC International, BOC International, CIMB Securities and ICBC International acted as the joint managers in the deal.
