Baker & McKenzie has advised Cheung Kong Holdings and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cheung Kong Bond Securities, on its issuance of $500 million 5.375 percent guaranteed senior perpetual securities.

Hong Kong partners Milton Cheng and Andrew Lockhart led the Baker & McKenzie team, assisted by special counsel Edwin Li. Clifford Chance advised BofA Merrill Lynch and Barclays, the lead managers and bookrunners on the transaction.

Listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the securities are perpetual with no fixed redemption date.
