Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft has advised Hainan Airlines on its $500 million issuance of 3.625 percent notes due 2020.

Hong Kong partners David Neuville and Joseph Lee led the Cadwalader team and advised on Hong Kong and U.S. law.

Clifford Chance, led by Hong Kong-based partner Connie Heng, counseled BOC International, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan as joint lead managers on the deal.

“This deal is further evidence of innovative credit enhancement structures used by issuers to capture the current buoyant bond market,” said Heng in a statement.
