Deacons has bolstered its capital markets practice with the hire of Kevin Tong as a partner in Hong Kong.

Previously a partner at King & Wood Mallesons, Tong advises issuers and financial institutions on debt capital markets transactions, with a focus on offshore yuan capital raising instruments, derivatives and structured products.

Tong will work closely with partner Ronny Chow in Deacons’ capital markets practice, which consists of six partners, one consultant and more than 35 fee-earners.
