ALB will identify China’s leading general counsel in its inaugural Top General Counsel Rankings 2015, which will be published in June. The submissions are open to all general counsel based in China. The research is three-pronged: it will involve a self-nomination process for general counsel, a survey requesting feedback on their in-house counterparts, as well as editorial input. The deadline for submission has been extended to Wednesday, May 20.
Methodology:
The research will be conducted through the following aspects:
1. Self-nomination forms for general counsel. In-house teams or the general counsel can fill out the submission form (document download link below) and hand it in to Shangjing Li at Shangjing.li@thomsonreuters.com Nominations will be vetted by the ALB editorial team.
2. Private practice lawyers in China are invited to fill out a survey in which they can recommend general counsel for the ranking. Responses will be kept anonymous.
3. We will also take into account peer commentary, market feedback and ALB editorial input. Interviews will be conducted by ALB if necessary.
Some of the key qualities we are looking for are:
1. Scope and significance of work handled by the general counsel
2. Any significant initiatives launched by the general counsel in his/her current role
3. Years of experience and previous work history
4. Awards and accolades
5. Other relevant information (including, but not limited to, pro-bono work, charity work, social service, etc.)

ALB 2015最佳总法律顾问
《亚洲法律杂志》（ALB）首届“ALB 2015最佳总法律顾问”评选活动即将截止，此次评选针对所有位于中国大陆的总法律顾问或公司法律事务最高负责人。最终的榜单将评选出15名最佳总法律顾问，调研结果将刊登在ALB 2015年6月刊上。
调研过程将采取“三管齐下”的方式，我们会参考公司法务总监自荐、律所合伙人和律师的推荐以及ALB研究团队自身对市场的判断。
表格可以由总法律顾问自己提交，也可以由助理和法务团队帮助提交，一个公司仅限提交一份，中英文填写皆可。
