ALB will identify China’s leading general counsel in its inaugural Top General Counsel Rankings 2016, which will be published in June. The submissions are open to all general counsel or head of legal affairs based in China.
The research will be conducted through the following aspects:
1. Self-nomination forms for general counsel. In-house teams or the general counsel can fill out the submission form (as attached) and hand it in to research team at TRALB.Ranking@thomsonreuters.com.
2. Private practice lawyers in China are invited to fill out a survey in which they can recommend general counsel for the ranking. Responses will be kept anonymous.
3. We will also take into account peer commentary, market feedback and ALB editorial input. Interviews will be conducted by ALB if necessary.
Some of the key qualities we are looking for are:
• Scope and significance of work handled by the general counsel
• Any significant initiatives launched by the general counsel in his/her current role
• Feedback of GC’s work from business partners
• Years of experience and previous work history
• Awards and accolades
• Other relevant information (including, but not limited to, pro-bono work, charity work, social service, etc.)
The deadline for submissions (as attached) and survey (here) is Friday, April 29.
Submission forms can be handed in by the GC, the assistant or in-house team. Only one entry is allowed per organization. The form can be filled in Chinese, English or both. Please submit the form to TRALB.Ranking@thomsonreuters.com.

汤森路透《亚洲法律杂志》（TR ALB）今日宣布第二届“ALB 2016最佳总法律顾问”评选活动启动，此次评选针对工作城市位于中国大陆的总法律顾问或公司法律事务最高负责人。ALB历届排名在法律界影响力颇大，此次调研结果将刊登在ALB China 2016年6月刊上。
ALB的调研包括以下三个方面：
1.公司总法律顾问必须提交报名表格(点击此处下载)。表格可以由公司的法务团队提交或者由总法律顾问填写提交,在截至日期前发送至TRALB.Ranking@thomsonreuters.com
2.ALB将邀请律所合伙人填写一份网上问卷，推荐他们心中顶级的总法律顾问。问卷内容我们会为提交者保密。
3.我们会参考市场和以及同行的评价，若需要，ALB会进行采访。
评选标准：
· 总法律顾问工作的难度和重要性
· 由总法律顾问发起的重大项目
· 业务部门对总法律顾问工作的评价
· 担任总法律顾问的时长和在法律领域的从业经验
· 个人获奖经历
· 其他信息（包括但不局限在法律援助，慈善活动，社会公益工作等）

表格可以由总法律顾问自己提交，也可以由助理和法务团队帮助提交，一个公司仅限提交一份，中英文填写皆可。
