JunHe has bolstered its aviation practice with the hire of Yan Zhenfeng as a partner in its Shanghai office.
Prior to JunHe, Yan was the director of legal affairs in Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC).He also practiced law in law firms in New York and Beijing, and served as an in-house counsel in China Netcom Guangdong Branch.
Yan focuses his practice on aviation policies, with a special focus on Cape Town Convention (the CTC) and has compiled a consolidated version of the CTC, the Aircraft Protocol and China’s Declarations, according to JunHe’s news statement.
With more than 13 years legal experience, Yan would focus on aviation, finance, and capital markets practices at JunHe. He is one of the few PRC lawyers capable of issuing fulsome Cape Town Convention opinions.
