The British Virgin Islands (BVI) has launched its International Arbitration Centre (IAC), headed by John Beechey, former president of International Chamber of Commerce’s Court of Arbitration.

The centre will provide administrative and concierge support in international arbitrations involving various combinations of states, state entities, international organisations and private parties. 

It will have 190 arbitration and dispute resolution experts who can carry out arbitrations in a variety of languages including Chinese, English, French, German, Russian and Spanish.
