Beijing-based IP boutique LexField Law Offices has helped Qualcomm win two preliminary injunctions against Apple for infringing the chipmaker’s patents relating to photo manipulation and touch-screen apps.
On Nov. 30, the Fuzhou Intermediate People’s Court ordered a ban on the import and sale of some older Apple iPhone models in China. Apple, which is appealing the decision, was represented by Fangda Partners and Fuzhou-based Topwe Law Firm.
The LexField team was led by Hongyi Jiang, managing partner and head of the patent litigation team. Jiang has earlier represented U.S. company Immersion in a dispute against Apple, and Huawei Technologies against Samsung. Both were patent infringement cases.
