Beijing-headquartered Jincheng Tongda & Neal has opened a new office in Nanjing, a key city in China’s Yangtze River Delta region, after acquiring local finance boutique Jiangsu Hong Ye Law Firm. It will also open an office in Tokyo in the spring of 2019. 

The firm now has a total headcount of more than 1,000 people including more than 100 senior partners. With the opening of Nanjing office, JT&N now has nine offices nationwide. These include four offices in the Yangtze River Delta area, the other three being Shanghai, Hangzhou and Hefei.

Jiangsu Hong Ye, a seven-year-old boutique, focuses primarily on banking and finance. Nanjing office also recruits local talents having capabilities in intellectual property, commercial disputes, and cross-border transactions. 

JT&N’s new Nanjing office will have 40 associates, and be led by director Fei Ye. The other senior partners include Wei Hong, Yuhao Xie, Jianhua Wu, and Xiaojun Wang. According to Ye, the Nanjing office aims to expand to 100 associates or so and focus on capital markets, intellectual property, commercial dispute resolution, and cross-border transactions.

The firm adds that apart from the Tokyo office, it also plans to open branches in Pearl River Delta and cities like Wuhan and Chongqing. 

金诚同达新设南京分所、东京联络处正在筹备

总部位于北京的金诚同达律师事务所在长三角核心城市之一南京，正式设立了南京分所。南京分所是在原江苏宏邺律师事务所团队整体加入的基础上成立的。金诚同达日本联络处正在筹备中，预计今年春天正式设立。

金诚同达目前人员总数超1000人，其中含100多位高级合伙人。随着南京分所的设立，金诚同达国内目前共含9家分所，其中4家均设在长三角区域，另外3家位于上海、杭州、合肥。

原江苏宏邺律师事务所成立已有7年，长期坚持打造大金融法律服务为主要优势领域。在此基础上 ，南京分所同时引入了本地优秀的知识产权、商事争议、涉外业务等团队的加入。

南京分所已有40人左右规模，叶菲律师是南京分所负责人，其他高级合伙人包括洪炜律师、吴建华律师、解宇昊律师、吴建华律师和王小君律师。据叶菲律师表示，南京分所计划总人数发展到100人左右，同时在资本市场、知识产权、商事争议、涉外业务等领域重点发力。

除了东京联络处正在筹备外，金诚同达接下来也会考虑在珠三角地区以及包括武汉、重庆等城市在内的华中地区布局。
