Beijing-headquartered Anli Partners has opened an office in Shenzhen office, its first in the Greater Bay Area, and its fifth office nationwide. The firm is also planning offices in other cities like Nanjing.

The Shenzhen office is expected to serve technology companies in the southern city, with the firm seeking to enhance its capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence. 

“The expansion is a natural move to the firm but we will adopt a strategy of moderate expansion. Beijing-headquarter office is equal with all branches. All branches under Anli’s umbrella enjoy same access to our branding and knowhow resources, and should involve in the firm’s overall management,” said Jinrong Hou, a partner at Anli and member of the firm’s managing committee.

The Shenzhen office is led by Xujia Xiang, director of executive committee of the firm and chief partner Yuping Wu.
