Beijing-headquartered Lantai Partners has opened a new office in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province, its ninth office till date.

The new office will focus on corporate/M&A, finance, real estate & construction projects, government affairs, intellectual property and dispute resolution. It currently has 28 lawyers including six partners and is led by parnter Gao Shulin.

Founded in 2002, Lantai has more than 400 lawyers at present. In the last two years, it has merged with  a firm called Zhong Chuang Law Offices, become the only law firm to represent China’s Department of Justice, and has hired two former senior government officials as senior counsel - Dong Chunjiang and Wei Dong, who were with the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice and Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Justice, respectively.

In the past decade, more than 50 law firms have opened offices in Nanjing, an industrial hub within the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In December 2016, the third Circuit Court of the Supreme People’s Court was established opened in Nanjing.

兰台律师事务所设立南京办公室

总部位于北京的兰台律师事务所在南京设立了新办公室，这是兰台在国内的第9家办公室。

南京办公室的主要业务领域为：公司/并购、金融、房地产与建设工程、政府法律事务、知识产权与争议解决等。目前，人员规模是28人，其中含6位合伙人，负责合伙人是高树林律师。

兰台律师事务所成立于2002年，拥有专业人士400余人。在过去的两年的发展中有不少亮点，其中包括：兰台律师事务所与中创律师事务所实现了合并；兰台成功中标成为司法部唯一的一家提供法律服务的律师事务所；原北京市司法局副局长董春江、原天津市司法局副局长魏东先后离职、加入兰台。

随着南京成为长江经济带的重要工业中心之一，在过去的近十年中，南京法律服务市场见证了五十余家非本地所在南京设立了办公室。2016年12月，最高院第三巡回法庭也在南京正式挂牌。
