Shanghai-headquartered Hui Ye Law Firm has entered into a strategic alliance with French law firm Adamas for cooperation across a range of practice areas including cross-border investment, corporate law and sports law.
The alliance is formed in response to the increasing investment and trade between China and Europe under the Belt & Road Initiative. The two firms will be exploring joint opportunities in industries such as agriculture, nuclear energy, life science, pharmaceuticals, transportation and infrastructure.
Founded in 1969, the 70-lawyer Adamas has offices in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Beijing and Shanghai.
The 600-lawyer Hui Ye is among the top 30 law firms in China with more than 20 offices globally. Its strength lies in corporate and M&A, compliance and investigations, employment and labour, and antitrust and competition law.
With the Adamas tie-up, Hui Ye has now strategic alliances with law firms in Canada, France, Switzerland, Sweden and Australia.
