Paul Hastings and King & Wood Mallesons have represented Jinshang Bank on its $422 million Hong Kong initial public offering, with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Haiwen & Partners advising the underwriters.
The Taiyuan-based Jinshang Bank is the only provincial government-backed city commercial bank in Shanxi province. The bank said it intends to use all the IPO proceeds to supplement capital to support future business growth.
The Paul Hastings team was led by Raymond Li, global partner and chair of Greater China; Zhaoyu Ren, corporate partner and vice-chair of the firm’s Hong Kong office; and corporate partner Vincent Wang. The Freshfields team was led by partners Calvin Lai and Jason Xu.
The Haiwen team was led by partners Wang Jianyong and Du Ning.
