纽约时间10月25日早，网易旗下子公司网易有道在纽约证券交易所上市，此次上市共筹集2.2亿美元资金。天元律师事务所在交易中担任了网易有道的中国律师，达维律师事务所担任有道的美国律师，迈普达律师事务所香港分所担任其开曼群岛律师。君合律师事务所及世达律师事务所则在交易中为承销商提供了法律意见。
网易有道是一家成立于2006年的数字化学习公司，根据天元的一份新闻稿，它旗下拥有有道词典、有道云笔记、有道精品课等一系列产品与服务，是网易第一家独立上市的子公司。
天元此次项目中的牵头律师为北京办公室合伙人朴昱，达维的牵头律师为香港办公室合伙人林振宇和何鲤；君合的牵头律师为北京办公室合伙人王健刚、易宜松、孙小佳，世达的牵头律师则为香港合伙人高准。
Tian Yuan, Davis Polk, Skadden, Junhe advise on Youdao’s $220.2 mln NY IPO
Beijing Tian Yuan Law Firm and Davis Polk & Wardwell have represented Chinese e-learning company Youdao on its $220.2 million initial public offering in New York Stock Exchange, with Maples and Calder (Hong Kong) being the Cayman Islands legal counsel, JunHe LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom advising the underwriters.
Founded in 2006 as part of NetEase Inc, Youdao provides a series of e-learning products, including online dictionary, Cloud notebook and online courses.
The Tian Yuan team was led by Beijing partner Piao Yu; the Davis Polk team was led by Hong Kong partners James Lin and He Li; the Junhe team was led by Beijing partners Wang Jiangang, Yi Yisong, Sun Xiaojia, and the Skadden team was led by Hong Kong partner Julie Gao.
