兰台律师事务所近日开设了郑州分所，这也是兰台的第十家分支机构。
郑州分所目前有16名员工，包括5名合伙人，未来将在服务以装备制造为代表的传统行业和当地机关单位外，扩展在信息技术、生物医药、智能制造等高端产业的法律服务。分所负责人为程阳律师，她原任兰台北京总部合伙人，其主要执业领域为合规、劳动人事、民商事争议。
兰台表示，郑州分所的设立将助力律所进驻河南、布局中部地区法律服务市场。兰台是近期第二家进驻河南的综合性律所：今年1月，观韬中茂律师事务所刚刚开设了郑州办公室。
泰和泰律师事务所近日开设了海口办公室，这也是继本月的武汉办公室后，泰和泰开设的第22家分支机构。
根据泰和泰的新闻稿，海口办公室将呼应海南自贸区经济发展重点领域，以国际贸易、生态环保、健康医疗、企业改制、IPO业务、金融证券、海事海商、资产重组、文化旅游等为重点执业领域。
此外，新办公室还将探索“法律+产业”新模式，探索设立泰和泰法律科技（协同）创新中心、文化旅游法律服务中心、医疗康养法律服务中心、国际贸易法律服务中心，尝试进一步整合服务业、会计、审计、评估、管理咨询等市场。
2018年海南全岛被设立为自由贸易试验区后，当地法律市场也迎来增长。近期，金杜律师事务所、中银律师事务所、华商律师事务所分别在海南设立了分所或联营律所。
Chinese law firms: A roundup of recent office openings
Lantai Partners has opened a new office in the city of Zhengzhou in Henan province, which is the firm’s tenth office till date, after its Nanjing office that was opened last June.
The new office now has a headcount of sixteen people, including five partners. They will provide legal services to the traditional sectors, such as equipment manufacture, as well as to local government. It also eyes for development of business in the sectors of information technology, biotech and medicine, and intelligent manufacturing. It will be led by Cheng Yang, who was a partner at Lantai’s Beijing office and practices on compliance, labor law and dispute resolution.
The new office will help the firm to set foot in both Henan and Central China legal markets. Lantai is the second to open a new office in Zhengzhou recently, with Guantao Law Firm doing so in this January.
Tahota Law Firm has opened a new office in Haikou, Hainan province, which is the firm’s twenty-second branch and the second one in this month, after the opening of Wuhan office.
The new office echos the strategy of Hainan Pilot Free Trade Zone and focuses on international trade, ecology and environment protection, healthcare, restructuring, IPO, securities, maritime, asset restructuring, and culture and tourism.
Meanwhile, the new office will explore a new business model of “law + industry”, by ways of setting up legal tech innovation, culture and tourism, healthcare and international trade service centers. It will also explore to combine services of accounting, auditing, assessing and management consulting.
The Hainan legal market has experienced a boost since 2018, after the announcing of the establishing of a pilot FTZ. Law firms venturing into the local market recently include King & Wood Mallesons, Zhong Yin Law Firm and China Commercial Law Firm.
