泰和泰律师事务所近期在壤塘设立办公室，成为该所在国内的第23家分支机构。

壤塘位于四川省阿坝藏族羌族自治州西部，青藏高原东部，自建县以来当地并无一家社会性律所。泰和泰在新闻稿中表示，壤塘分所的建立是推动解决国内“无律师县”问题的实际举措，也是该所全国整体布局中的重要一环。

据北京青年报报道，今年8月，已有九家北京律师事务所分别在九个西藏“无律师县”开设分所，并派驻了11名律师前往当地开展法律工作，其中包括大成、盈科、京师等。2022年5月，司法部印发通知部署解决“无律师县”工作，要求在2022年内基本实现律所全国全覆盖目标。

Tahota becomes the latest firm to open in rural Tibetan areas

Tahota Law Firm has recently established a Rangtang office, which is the firm’s 23th domestic branch.

Rangtang is a small town located in the west of Sichuan province, on the east edge of the Tibetan Plateau. There has been no law firm since the establishment of the county. 

Tahota said in a statement that the establishment of Rangtang office is a practical step towards solving the problem of “no lawyer counties” in China and is an important part of the firm's overall national strategy.

According to Beijing Youth Daily, nine Beijing law firms, including Dentons, Yingke and Jingsh, have landed branches in nine “no lawyer counties” in Tibet and have sent 11 lawyers to handle legal works back in August. China's Ministry of Justice called on all law firms to build presence in those rural areas in May this year and aimed to solve the problem within the year of 2022 itself.
