总部位于山东济南的众成清泰律师事务所近日正式设立韩国分所，成为山东省首家获准在韩国执业的律师事务所。

据悉，众成清泰涉韩业务团队有精通韩语的律师9人，将由高级合伙人、副主任金允国律师担任首席代表。金律师于2021年取得了韩国“外国法咨询师”资格证书，他一直服务于青岛地区韩国企业的外商投资事宜，以及相关争议解决业务。

众成清泰2019年便在韩国展开一系列调研，希望设立韩国代表处，但这一布局被随后三年的新冠疫情所中断。

未来，众成清泰韩国分所将持续在中国境内企业和个人赴韩投资、并购、上市、发债业务以及跨境诉讼、仲裁等司法活动及韩国公民和韩企在中国的各项生活和生产经营活动中提供专业的诉讼和非诉讼法律服务。

众成清泰在一份新闻稿中表示，此次韩国分所的正式成立标志着该所在涉韩法律服务领域的实现本土化，是其在实现东亚地区法律服务一体化道路上的里程碑式迈进。

Jointide becomes first Shandong firm to open a South Korean office

Shandong-headquartered Jointide Law Firm has recently established a new office in Seoul, South Korea, under the name of Jointide Foreign Legal Consultant Office. This has made Jointide the first law firm in Shandong Province to be authorised to practice law in South Korea since 2011 when the South Korean legal market opened.

A team of nine lawyers proficient in Korean has been assembled for the newly opened office. Yoonguk Kim, senior partner, and vice director of Jointide, has been appointed as the chief representative of the new office. Kim obtained a foreign law consultant's license in South Korea back in 2021 and he has served Korean companies investing in the city of Qingdao and related disputes for many years.

Jointide sent multiple representatives to South Korea back in 2019 to explore the possibility to have a local office, but the plan was cut short by the three-year pandemic.

The new office will provide litigation and non-litigation legal services to Chinese enterprises and individuals in South Korea for investments, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, debt issuance business, and cross-border disputes. Additionally, the office will serve South Korean citizens and enterprises in China for various matters.

Jointides stated that the establishment of the South Korea office marks a milestone step towards the integration of the firm's legal services in the East Asian region, also showcasing its commitment to localizing Korea-related legal services.
