总部位于成都的泰和泰律师事务所近日正式落子老挝万象，成为该所全球范围内的第28家分支机构。

据悉，新设立的万象办公室的专业团队拥有超过十五年经验的涉外法律服务经验和长达八年的深耕老挝法律服务市场的执业经验，服务领域涉及境外铁路、公路、钢铁、造纸、烟草、水电站、矿业、航空、地产、国际工程、经济特区、城市基础设施建设、跨境融资、争议解决等诸多领域。

泰和泰在一份新闻稿中表示，万象办公室的设立对于该所实现在世界主要经济体和一带一路沿线国家设立办公室的国际化布局具有现实意义，为搭建其在南亚东南亚地区的境外服务网络迈出更加坚实的步伐。

这也并不是今年第一家布局老挝的中国所。今年7月，总部位于北京的德恒律师事务所也已正式落子老挝万象，成为该所在东南亚区域的首家办公室。

Tahota opens in Laos, exploring new opportunities in Southeast Asia

Chengdu-based Tahota Law Firm has recently launched a new office in Vientiane, Laos, which becomes the firm’s 28th branches globally.

The professional team of Tahota’s Vientiane Office has more than 15 years of experience in providing foreign-related legal services, with an extensive eight-year practice in the Lao legal service market. 

The new office’s services cover overseas railways, highways, steel, paper, tobacco, hydropower station, mining, aviation, real estate, international engineering, economic zones, urban infrastructure construction, cross-border financing, dispute resolution, etc.

Tahota addressed in a press release that the establishment of the new office holds practical significance for the firm in realizing its international layout with offices in major global economies and countries along the One Belt, One Road, marking a more solid step towards building an overseas service network for Tahota in South and Southeast Asia.

This is also not the first Chinese firm to lay out Laos this year. Beijing-headquartered  DeHeng Law Offices has opened its first office in Vientiane in July.
