总部位于伦敦的安睿顺德伦律师事务所向ALB确认，该所“目前正在重新审视北京办公室的策略之中，但尚未做出任何有关其未来的决定”。
安睿顺德伦北京办公室开设于2013年，目前拥有四位律师，包括北京办公室管理合伙人、中国区公司部主管昃杰，资深顾问律师马骎，以及律师Zhe Zhou、Shona Shang。
北京办公室的业务领域主要为跨境并购、私募股权交易、投资基金、合资，以及公司融资，尤其为诸多大型中国国企、民营企业提供了跨境服务。
去年7月，安睿顺德伦曾与金杜中国签署排他性推介合作协议，根据协议，安睿顺德伦将把需要中国法律服务的客户推介给金杜中国。
安睿顺德伦告诉ALB，协议运行的第一年“十分成功，双方相互推介并赢得了大量工作”。
尚不清楚这样的合作模式如何影响了该所中国内地办公室的工作量。
安睿顺德伦目前在中国还有上海、香港两家办公室，该所确认：“它们不会受到任何审查，我们也没有这样做的计划。”
上海办公室创建于2006年、香港创建于2009年，目前两家办公室共有17位合伙人、58位律师，不过网站显示，上海只有2位合伙人、5位律师。
该所还告诉ALB，“为进一步表明亚洲市场对我们的重要性，安睿顺德伦在监管审批通过、内部讨论完成后，将很快在新加坡设立办公室”。
2020年，安睿顺德伦在与Harry Elias Partnership结束三年合并后退出了新加坡市场。
Eversheds mulls Beijing closure, plans SG return
UK-headquartered Eversheds Sutherland has confirmed to ALB that the firm is currently reviewing whether to keep its Beijing office open, while also making plans to reestablish an office in Singapore.
“Eversheds Sutherland (International) is seeking, subject to regulatory approvals and the successful conclusion of current, ongoing discussions, to shortly establish a formal presence in Singapore,” the firm told ALB.
Eversheds had exited Singapore in 2020 after its three-year merger with Harry Elias Partnership came to an end.
In the case of its Beijing office, however, the firm said no final decision had been made.
Eversheds’ Beijing office was established in 2013 and currently has four lawyers, including Beijing managing partner Jay Ze, of counsel Grace Ma, and associates Zhe Zhou and Shona Shang.
The office primarily focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, investment funds, joint ventures, and corporate finance. It provides cross-border services to large Chinese state-owned enterprises and private companies.
In July last year, Eversheds signed an exclusive referral cooperation agreement with King & Wood Mallesons China, under which Eversheds would refer clients in need of Chinese legal services to KWM.
The firm informed ALB that the first year of the arrangement had been “very successful,” with significant numbers of referrals being made and work won. It remains unclear how this cooperation model has affected the work of the firm’s Mainland China offices.
In China, Eversheds also has offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong. The firm confirmed that these offices “were not subject to any review and there is no intention that they will be.”
The Shanghai office was established in 2006, and Hong Kong in 2009. Together they have 17 partners and 58 lawyers, with the bulk of those in Hong Kong.
