粤港澳大湾区是我国重要的经济增长极和国际科技创新中心，特别是依托最新定位和政策支持，粤港澳大湾区企业的发展和遇到的法律问题也愈发呈现着国际化和多元化趋势。粤港澳大湾区企业的法务团队，他们务实同时又充满活力，其工作呈现出鲜明的粤港澳大湾区特色，他们帮助企业处理复杂前沿的法律问题，在高效的工作中助力企业高速发展。

汤森路透《亚洲法律杂志》（ALB）荣幸宣布，我们将聚焦粤港澳大湾区顶尖的法务团队，启动2024 ALB China粤港澳大湾区法务团队评选活动。此次评选将呈现粤港澳大湾区优秀的法务团队及他们出色的工作，调研结果将刊登在2024年11月《亚洲法律杂志》中国版。

调研内容

• 法务团队提交报名表格，参与者需为常驻粤港澳大湾区的法务团队；
• ALB邀请律师填写一份网上问卷，推荐他们心中出色的粤港澳大湾区法务团队。问卷内容我们会为提交者保密；
• 我们会参考市场和以及同行的评价，若需要，ALB会进行采访。

评选标准：

• 其工作助力粤港澳大湾区企业业务发展：

1. 参与及完成的重要交易/项目，直接为公司的发展或利润做出贡献;
2. 赢得的仲裁/诉讼，从而保护公司免遭财务或声誉损失;
3. 以创新方式深度参与公司运营，促进合规水平提升;

• 根据团队规模考察工作的多样性和复杂性;
• 公司业务部门对法务团队工作的评价；
• 其他成绩（如在教育、公益法律服务、慈善事业等方面的成绩）。

GBA is an important economic growth pole and international center for scientific and technological innovation in China. Especially with the latest positioning and policy support, the development of enterprises in GBA and the legal issues they encounter are increasingly showing an international and diversified trend. GBA in-house teams are pragmatic yet dynamic, presenting the distinct characteristics of GBA in their work. They help enterprises deal with complex and cutting-edge legal issues, and contribute to the rapid development of efficient work.

Thomson Reuters Asian Legal Business (ALB) is pleased to announce that we will focus on the outstanding work of GBA in-house teams and the submission for 2024 ALB China GBA In-House Teams is open now. ALB hopes to present 15 outstanding legal teams and their amazing work in GBA. The research results will be published in the ALB China Issue in November 2024.

METHODOLOGY:

• Self-nomination forms are available from in-house teams based in GBA. The team can fill out the submission form and hand it into the research team at TRALBRanking@thomsonreuters.com.
• Law firm lawyers in China are invited to fill out a survey in which they can recommend GBA in-house teams for the ranking. Responses will be kept anonymous.
• We will also take into account peer commentary, market feedback, and ALB editorial input. Interviews will be conducted by ALB if necessary.

CRITERIA:

• GBA in-house teams work to support the business:

1. Involvement in and completion of significant transactions/projects; being a direct contributor to the company’s growth or profit;
2. Arbitration/lawsuits won, and thus have saved the company from financial or reputational loss;
3. Innovative and in-depth involvement in the company’s operations and promotion of compliance;

• Revenue made by the in-house team directly;
• Efficiency and complexity of work based on the scale of the team;
• Other accomplishments/activities (i.e. educational, pro bono, charitable, etc.).

TO PARTICIPATE:

• Submission forms can be downloaded here. Only one entry is allowed per organization. The form can be filled in Chinese, English, or both.  Please submit the form to TRALBRanking@thomsonreuters.com. The deadline for submissions is 18:00 August 28, 2024. The submissions are open to the in-house teams based in GBA over the past 12 months.
• The survey can be taken from here (https://zh.surveymonkey.com/r/GBAIH2024), which will be closed at 18:00 on August 21, 2024.

The teams will win an ALB trophy,  and the result will be published in the ALB China Issue in November 2024. We are looking forward to your participation!
