竞天公诚律师事务所近日迎来知识产权专家蔡柏坚律师以合伙人身份加盟其香港办公室。

蔡律师拥有25年的从业经验，深耕知识产权领域，在品牌建设、商标、设计、版权注册及相关诉讼和执行、知识产权组合管理以及尽职调查方面有着深厚的专业积累。

加入竞天公诚之前，蔡律师曾于2022年加入高李严律师行；在此之前，他也曾是孖士打律师行和的近律师行的合伙人，并曾在贝克·麦坚时律师事务所和高露云律师行任职。

竞天公诚管委会主席赵洋律师表示：“蔡柏坚律师作为知识产权合伙人的加入，是竞天公诚香港办公室发展的重要战略节点。他的加入将增强我们的整体服务实力，为我们在亚洲地区的持续发展增添动力。”

伴随蔡律师的加入，竞天公诚香港办公室共有22名专业人员，其中包括17位合伙人。今年9月，该所还吸纳了公司金融合伙人姚颖敏和资本市场合伙人黄克。

Jingtian expands HK IP practice with OLN hire

PRC law firm Jingtian & Gongcheng has strengthened its intellectual property practice in Hong Kong by hiring Benjamin Choi as a partner from Oldham, Li & Nie.

Choi has 25 years of experience in IP industry, focusing on branding, trademark, design, and copyright registration, as well as prosecution and enforcement, IP portfolio management, and due diligence.

Prior to joining OLN in 2022, Choi was previously a partner at Mayer Brown. After more than 11 years with the firm, he served at Deacons and has held various roles at Baker McKenzie and Wilkinson & Grist.

“The addition of Choi as an IP partner is an important strategic point in the development of Jingtian & Gongcheng's Hong Kong office. His joining will enhance our overall service strength and add momentum to our continued growth in the Asia region,” said Zhao Yang, chairman of the management committee of Jingtian.

With the addition of Choi, Jingtian now has 22 legal professionals in Hong Kong, including 17 partners. The firm also took on corporate finance partner Vivian Yiu and capital markets partner Huang Ke in September.
