在亚太地区，艾金·岗波还设有新加坡办公室。
艾金·岗波北京办公室设立于2007年，主要服务于中国企业及外国投资者的跨境并购、资本市场、股权投资、国际贸易等法律需求。其目前有4位律师，包括2位合伙人、1位高级顾问、1位律师。
北京办公室管理合伙人为徐作青，主要服务于资本市场及跨境并购业务。徐律师2019年4月加入艾金·岗波，此前他任职于罗夏信律师事务所北京办公室。该所告诉ALB，徐律师将于办公室关闭后退休。
另一位合伙人姜靖荔主要服务于国际贸易和商事领域，为客户提供和美国法律及政策域外效力有关的咨询。未来她将转驻该所其他办公室。
高级顾问杨家奇服务于并购、资本市场和公司融资领域，艾金·岗波并未透露杨律师的未来计划。

US firm Akin Gump to wind down in Beijing
US law firm Akin Gump is set to close its Beijing office. A spokesperson confirmed the news, stating, "We are in the process of winding down operations in Beijing, China, where we have four lawyers, and anticipate that the wind down will occur in 2024."
In the Greater China region, Akin Gump will still maintain its presence in Hong Kong. The spokesperson added, "Akin is staying open in Hong Kong and remains committed to serving clients, including those in China and doing business in China, through strong collaboration with our global practices and offices."
Akin Gump also has an office in Singapore within the Asia-Pacific region.
The Beijing office was established in 2007, primarily serving the legal needs of Chinese companies and foreign investors in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, equity investments, international trade, and more. The office currently has four lawyers, including two partners, one senior counsel, and one associate.
Allen Shyu, the office managing partner, focuses on capital markets and cross-border M&A transactions. He joined Akin Gump in April 2019, previously working at Stephenson Harwood's Beijing office. The firm informed ALB that Xu will retire after the office's closure.
Another partner, Jingli Jiang, specializes in international trade and commercial matters, providing advice related to the extraterritorial application of US law and policy. She will relocate to another office of the firm.
Senior Counsel Dennis Yeung serves in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate financing. Akin Gump has not disclosed Yang's future plans.
