近日，总部位于北京的炜衡律师事务所正式设立香港办公室，成为该所在全球范围内的第50家分支机构。

据悉，炜衡香港分所将由应飞彪律师担任负责人，在未来也将被打造成炜衡国际法律服务的信息中心、运营中心和结算中心，为全球客户提供更加便捷、高效、专业的法律服务。

炜衡在一份新闻稿中表示，香港分所的设立是其发展历程中的一个重要里程碑，意味着该所法律服务网络的全球拓展以及在国际化道路上更加坚实的步伐。

W&H latest PRC firm to launch Hong Kong office

Chinese law firm W&H Law Firm has recently expanded its footprint by opening a new office in Hong Kong, becoming the latest mainland Chinese legal practice to establish a presence in the Asian financial hub.

The Hong Kong office will be the 50th branch of W&H overall, which also has an office in Tokyo.

The Beijing-headquartered firm's expansion follows the launch of Guangzhou-based Wang Jing & GH’s Hong Kong office in August. There are now 32 PRC law firms operating as foreign law firms in the city. 

The new office will be led by partner Ying Feibiao, and will also be developed into the information center, operation center and settlement center of W&H’s international legal services, providing more convenient, efficient and professional legal services to clients.

W&H views its new Hong Kong branch as an important milestone, signifying the global expansion of its legal services network and a more solid step on the road to internationalization, it added.
