Clifford Chance and Ji Yuan Law Offices have advised China Resources Pharmaceutical Group, China's second-largest pharmaceuticals manufacturer and distributor, on its $1.8 billion initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The joint sponsors on the deal -- CCBI, CICC, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch -- were represented by King & Wood Mallesons and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

The Clifford Chance team was led by partners Amy Lo, Fang Liu and Tim Wang. The Freshfields team was led by corporate partners Teresa Ko, Calvin Lai and Richard Wang. Partner Lizi Tang led for King & Wood Mallesons.

This latest listing continues a successful year for Hong Kong IPOs, following in the heels of Postal Savings Bank of China for $7.6 billion (2016’s largest IPO globally) and Everbright Securities’ $1.3 billion listing. The two listings played a large role in making Hong Kong this year’s biggest IPO market, overtaking New York.
